Veera, born 1978.

Veera is the energetic leader of our dolphins. She has even managed to bend Delfi, an adult male, to her will. The leader's role suits Veera very well, because in the wild, the highest position in the school is also taken by the oldest female dolphin.

Veera enjoys giving solo performances. Sometimes she refuses to listen to the trainers and shows her own favourite tricks, but she also enjoys participating in the numbers together with the other dolphins.

Delfi, born 1980

Delfi is the oldest male dolphin in the Särkänniemi Dolphinarium. He is well-proportioned, and has beautiful eyes. Delfi is a good jumper and loves to practise his jumps

Delfi also enjoys giving boyishly energetic performances, and likes swimming with the dolphin keepers.

Näsi, born 1979

Due to her diligence and persistence, Näsi has perhaps learned more new things than any of the other dolphins.
Näsi is very keen to pose for cameras, and why not - she is as tall, slender and elegant as any other photographic model.

Näsi is the mother of Leevi, a dolphin born in August 1993.

Leevi, born 1993

Leevi, the male offspring of Näsi and Delfi , was born on18 August 1993 in Särkänniemi. At birth, he was 128 cm long, and weighed 20 kg. Näsi nursed Leevi for about a year. Leevi is a wild young dolphin who began imitating his mother in many tasks at a very young age. He joined the show with his own tricks at age 1. Now Leevi is older and has learnt the same skills as the other adult dolphins.
Leevi’s favourite toy is a ball.

Eevertti, born 1996

Eevertti was born on 9 September 1996. He is the youngest in the Särkänniemi school, and the energetic son of Veera and Delfi. Ever since his birth, he has been a lively, perky, independent little dolphin. At birth, he weighed about 18 kg and was about 120 cm long. He is still busy with the job of becoming a full-grown dolphin.

Eevertti loves to play with all kinds of toys and likes to imitate other dolphins. He is especially interested in observing the antics of young Leevi.
