Särkänniemi Adventure Park certified in quality, environmental and safety management

Särkänniemi Adventure Park in Tampere, Finland, is the first amusement park in the Nordic countries to receive the ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental Management and OHSAS 18001 certificates. The certificates were issued by Det Norske Veritas Certification.

Environmental impacts and how to achieve our objectives

In order to achieve our environmental targets, we use an environmental management system. Environmental aspects within it are reviewed every year.

The personnel's professional competence and knowledge in environmental matters are key factors in making them committed to environmental programmes and carrying them out successfully. This is why training is organised regularly.

Our personnel have a key role in creating environmental programmes for our attractions. The competence and knowledge of each member of Särkänniemi personnel contributes to the implementation of the environmental programmes of their respective units.

The system is regularly monitored. At the same time, achieving our objectives is reviewed.
