Särkänniemi parking arrangements
The route to Särkänniemi and the parking areas is marked by the official black and white road signs used by the City of Tampere, and in the summertime, by electronic, continuously updated information boards that report the parking situation in real time and direct customers to the correct parking area.
In the winter season
In the winter season there are parking spaces behind the Näsinneula observation tower and in the vicinity of Mustalahti Harbour. In the winter season, parking in Särkänniemi is free of charge.
In the summer season
Once the parking areas closest to Särkänniemi (P1 in guide signs) are full, customers are directed to the Onkiniemi parking area (P2 in guide signs), from where there is a free shuttle bus to Särkänniemi during the summer season.
The parking fee in the Särkänniemi and Onkiniemi parking areas is €5/vehicle/day. The parking fee is paid at the ticket office tent in connection with the purchase of a ticket product. You can also buy the parking ticket at the main gate information desk or at the lift ticket office in Näsinneula before leaving. Parking area stewards check the parking ticket when the customer is leaving. Buses can park free of charge.
There are some parking spaces for the handicapped next to the Särkänniemi main gate and behind the Näsinneula observation tower. Our parking staff will guide customers to those spaces as needed.
